Rebecca Dodd joined the UK and Ireland team as Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer in September 2021. Most recently, Rebecca held the position of HR Business Partner on the Center HR team supporting Kevin Ozan and the Global Finance function based out of Chicago.

Rebecca has been with the McDonald’s brand for over 4 years, starting in the HR team for the Rocky Mountain Region. During the US field-first initiative, Rebecca was promoted into the Field People Officer role, supporting the Denver Field Office. During her time as the HRM, Rebecca supported the crew at the 2018 WWC. In her Field People Officer role she supported the franchisee community and they decreased crew TTM turnover by 37% over 2 years.

Rebecca leads with the utmost integrity in all she does, always putting our people and customers first - and throughout her career with McDonald’s, she has received various awards for her contributions to the system: 2018 Customer Obsessed, 2019 Business Transformation and 2019 Women Rise Together Award. 

Prior to her time with McDonald’s, Rebecca held a variety of roles in Las Vegas, Nevada where she specialised in opening restaurants, nightclubs and hotels. During her time in Las Vegas she worked in Labour Relations, Employee Relations, Recruitment, as well as Generalist HR roles.

Rebecca’s favourite McDonald’s menu items are the Sausage & Egg McMuffin and the McSpicy.
