We’re passionate about helping the environment, so we’re trialling paper packaging for the Happy Meal® books and toys, with a view to remove all plastic book and toy packaging in the future.

Let’s make fun go further

We plan to collect unwanted plastic toys to turn them into play equipment for Ronald McDonald House Charities. You’ll soon be able to just drop them in our in-restaurant collection units.

In future, every McDonald’s restaurant will give parents the choice to opt out of a plastic toy in exchange for a book.
