Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, North America, McDonald’s USA
As Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, North America, Bob is responsible for executing the strategic direction of McDonald’s Supply Chain, including oversight of nearly $14 billion in food and beverage, equipment, packaging and premiums, and distribution for more than 15,000 restaurants across the U.S. and Canada. In this role, his primary focus is developing strong teams to drive business results in quality and food safety, strategic sourcing and cost management, logistics and supply chain digitalization, new product commercialization, field execution and supplier diversity - all leading to enhanced supply chain resiliency.
Building on his 28-year legacy with the Golden Arches, Bob brings deep supply chain expertise and the right mix of experience, skills and integrity into his new role. As Vice President of GSSF, Bob led a team of supply chain experts dedicated to developing and executing sustainable food sourcing strategies to create truly resilient growth. He also led the important work to digitalize our supply chain and implement regenerative agriculture practices and other sustainability initiatives to support our ambitions on sustainable supply. Most recently under his leadership, Bob helped guide McDonald’s through some of the most novel and complex supply chain challenges of our time, earning a global reputation for knowing how to focus resources when and where they’re needed most. He previously held Leadership roles in Global Strategic Sourcing Services and US Field and Supply Chain Services, managing a wide range of categories.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York Maritime College in the Bronx, New York, where he graduated as a licensed officer in the United States Merchant Marine and served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He serves on the board of Junior Achievement Chicago and is chair of the VEBN (Veterans Employee Business Network).
