Vice President, Franchise Relations, Diversity and Ombudsman, McDonald's USA
Gino Potesta is the Vice President of Franchise Relations, Diversity and Ombudsman for McDonald’s USA. In this role, Gino leads company engagement with Operator leadership and stewards the relationship between McDonald’s and the National Franchisee Leadership Alliance (NFLA), Franchisee diversity networks and Ombudsman organizations.
A 43-year McDonald’s veteran, Gino began his career in 1980 as a crew person in South Florida and has since held various leadership positions for the business in Chicago, Ohio, Hawaii and California. Prior to his current role, Gino served as the Business Unit Lead for McDonald’s in Asia, the Field Vice President for the northeastern region of the U.S. and the New York Metro Regional Vice President.
In 2000, Gino was awarded the prestigious McDonald’s President's Award. This award recognizes the top 1% of McDonald’s employees who achieve considerable business results.
Gino holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management, a fellowship from the Leadership of Greater Chicago and is an MBA DePaul University candidate for 2024.
Gino and his wife Katie reside in Chicago.
