The APIA Scholars 2024-2025 Scholarship Application is Now Open.

McDonald’s has been supporting Asian Pacific Islander American (APIA) students to pursue their educational ambition for more than 15 years.  From workshops to mentorships and mental health initiatives to a changemaker content series, the APA Next platform continues to evolve, just like the student we serve. This year, McDonald’s increased our partnership with APIA Scholars by awarding an additional 40 scholarships. That’s right, in 2023 there are 95 McDonald’s/APIA Scholars. For the 2024-2025 school year, we will continue to partner with APIA Scholars to offer scholarships to APIA students.

The scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year is currently awarded at two tiers. Tier 1 is a $20,000 scholarship to be distributed over 4-years. This scholarship directly supports selected scholars’ post-secondary education. Tier 2 is a $5,000 scholarship to be distributed one academic year to selected students. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievement, community involvement and financial need. We can’t wait to support you through your higher education journey and beyond.
